Drinking Water: A Natural Colon Cleanse
Water. Do you drink it? I'm sure you do. The human body can last weeks without food, but only days without water. The body is made up of approximately 55 to 75 per cent water. Water forms the basis of blood, digestive juices, urine and perspiration and is contained in lean muscle, fat and bones. Many health experts will agree that drinking water frequently will give you more energy.
As the body can't store water, we need fresh supplies every day to make up for losses from lungs, skin, urine and feces. Water is needed to maintain the health and integrity of every cell in the body, keep the bloodstream liquid enough to flow through blood vessels, regulate body temperature through sweating, lubricate and cushion joints and carry nutrients and oxygen to the body's cells, just to name a few. Drinking refreshing, clean water plays a major role in reducing the risk of certain diseases.
Drinking water is also a great natural colon cleanse for your body. Detoxification, or the process of ridding the body of toxins and cleansing the organs, is a great way to improve how you look, feel and function. And water is an effective natural colon cleanse that can help you to lose weight, increase your energy and heal your ailments.
A diet containing lots of fruits and vegetables will supply about 4 cups of water per day. Even with a diet high in fruits and vegetables, it is still necessary to drink an additional 6 to 8 cups of water per day to supply enough water to meet the body's daily needs. Have you ever noticed that when you throw vegetables in a pan and turn on the heat you’ll see liquid in the pan soon afterward, and then shortly after that you’ll see steam rising from them? That’s because you’re literally cooking the water out of the vegetables.
Insufficient intake of water may lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when we do not have enough water in our body to carry on normal functions. Symptoms of dehydration include headaches, lethargy, mood changes and slow responses, dry nasal passages, dry or cracked lips, dark-colored urine, weakness, tiredness, confusion and hallucinations. Eventually urination stops, the kidneys fail and the body can't remove toxic waste products. In extreme cases, this may result in death. Even mild dehydration, as little as a one to two percent loss of our body weight, decreases our energy and make us feel tired and sluggish.
Thirst is not always reliable when there is a need for drinking water; the older we are, the less we are able to sense that we need water. Also during vigorous exercise, when an important amount of our fluid reserves may be lost before we feel thirsty. We should make sure that we are sufficiently hydrated before, during and after exercise. To be properly hydrated, we should drink a glass of water with each meal and between meals, as well as limit our coffee or tea breaks. The best beverage is water; it is free of calories, inexpensive, and readily available everywhere.

Many of us are looking for a simple solution, an easy way to get in shape!
There are good reasons why DrNatura is widely regarded as a among colon cleansing product. The formula does promote colon health and the company has an excellent rating. Other people may say otherwise, but of course it doesn’t work like magic. You also have to live a healthy lifestyle, stay away from food and drinks that could harm your health. I’m not going to take time and put a comment here for something that I wouldn’t strongly recommend.
